75-jähriges Jubiläum
The MDR Children's Choir will celebrate its 75th anniversary on March 19, 2023. The anniversary concert will take place in the Gewandhaus.

Nearly 190 participants took part in the Evening event at Gohlis Palace
The choir participated in the 70th anniversary celebrations in 2018, which were organized by the Friends' Association. Prior to the event, a presentation on 70 years of choral music was given to nearly 1000 guests at the Leipzig Congress Hall. We have captured some photos for you in our event overview.
Alumni meet to sing together.
In our anniversary year of 2023, we are planning a joint singing event for former choir members in the autumn. You are welcome to join us for this musical reunion.
